Web Content Manager
<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>The Web Content Manager is responsible for managing, updating, and optimizing website content to ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with organizational goals. This role owns day-to-day content operations within the CMS and partners closely with marketing, communications, and internal stakeholders to support digital initiatives, campaigns, and member-facing experiences.</p><p>The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with <strong>Modern Campus (formerly OmniUpdate / OU Campus)</strong> and understands how structured web environments operate, particularly within associations, higher education, or similar membership-driven organizations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and maintain website content using <strong>Modern Campus</strong>, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and accessibility standards</li><li>Update, publish, and optimize web pages, landing pages, and content modules across the site</li><li>Partner with internal teams to support content updates tied to campaigns, initiatives, events, and announcements</li><li>Ensure content aligns with organizational priorities including membership recruitment, retention, and non-dues revenue initiatives</li><li>Maintain content governance standards, templates, workflows, and approval processes</li><li>Monitor site content for broken links, outdated information, and usability issues</li><li>Apply SEO best practices to improve content discoverability and performance</li><li>Coordinate with designers, developers, and external vendors as needed</li><li>Support reporting and tracking related to content updates, site health, and engagement</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
<ul><li>Proven experience managing website content within <strong>Modern Campus (OU Campus)</strong></li><li>3+ years of experience in a web content, digital content, or CMS-focused role</li><li>Strong understanding of structured CMS environments and content governance</li><li>Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, communications, and internal stakeholders</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple updates and priorities simultaneously</li><li>Experience in a member association, higher education, nonprofit, or B2B environment</li><li>Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG / ADA compliance)</li></ul><p><br></p>
