Specialist, Employee Screening & Compliance
We are looking for a detail-oriented Specialist in Employee Screening & Compliance to join our team in Houston, Texas. This position is a Contract role and requires someone who can efficiently manage I-9 forms while adhering to compliance standards. The ideal candidate will work onsite Monday through Friday, collaborating with the project team to audit and digitize vital employee records.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct thorough audits of I-9 forms to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.<br>• Organize and categorize paper I-9s based on updated reports and guidelines.<br>• Digitize paper I-9s by scanning them into the designated format.<br>• Compile and consolidate scanned files into comprehensive digital documents.<br>• Collaborate with team members to streamline the digitization and auditing process.<br>• Maintain meticulous records and ensure proper handling of sensitive information.<br>• Communicate effectively with team members to address discrepancies or issues in the documentation.<br>• Follow established protocols and provide feedback on improving document management processes.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Windows OS for efficient workflow management.<br>• Support the project team in achieving targets and deadlines related to employee compliance.
• Previous experience working with I-9 forms in an HR Coordinator or similar role.<br>• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies.<br>• Effective verbal and written communication skills.<br>• Ability to follow instructions and respond positively to corrective feedback.<br>• Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Outlook.<br>• Familiarity with compliance standards and auditing processes.<br>• Experience working in a large company environment.<br>• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel are preferred.
