We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of a logistics department in Houston, Texas. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of inbound and outbound deliveries while working closely with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and an ability to navigate logistics challenges effectively.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and coordinate outbound deliveries to ensure timely and accurate shipments.<br>• Oversee the return of goods to vendors, maintaining proper documentation and communication.<br>• Supervise inbound material deliveries, resolving any issues that may arise during the process.<br>• Communicate efficiently with internal teams and external customers to address logistics concerns.<br>• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and shipping requirements.<br>• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with other departments to meet operational needs.<br>• Develop and implement strategies to streamline logistics processes and enhance efficiency.<br>• Address and troubleshoot delivery delays or discrepancies promptly.<br>• Maintain accurate records and reports related to shipping and receiving activities.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.<br>• Strong knowledge of logistics, distribution, and shipping functions.<br>• Proven ability to coordinate logistics activities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.<br>• Familiarity with customs regulations and compliance standards.<br>• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively.<br>• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.<br>• Proficiency in using logistics software and tools.<br>• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
