Instructional Designer
<p>Our client is seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy <strong>Instructional Designer / eLearning Developer</strong> to join their team. This role is pivotal in developing engaging and effective online learning experiences tailored to organizational goals. You'll partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), project managers, and other stakeholders to design and develop training materials, courses, and eLearning solutions that make an impact.</p><p>If you're passionate about leveraging technology to empower learning, enjoy bringing innovative ideas to life, and thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, this could be the opportunity you're looking for!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and deliver engaging eLearning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions to meet client objectives and timelines.</li><li>Partner with SMEs to identify training needs and design learning objectives that align with business goals.</li><li>Create visually appealing and interactive instructional content using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.</li><li>Implement multimedia elements like graphics, audio, videos, animations, and simulations into training materials while ensuring accessibility and usability.</li><li>Apply instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, or Agile Learning to produce quality eLearning solutions.</li><li>Evaluate and incorporate adult learning principles and best practices into course content.</li><li>Develop quizzes, assessments, and other evaluation tools to measure learner comprehension and performance.</li><li>Collaborate with IT, project management, and other teams to ensure seamless course implementation via Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Moodle, Cornerstone, or SAP SuccessFactors.</li><li>Test and troubleshoot courses to ensure proper functionality, interactivity, and adherence to SCORM or xAPI standards.</li><li>Continuously evaluate and improve content based on feedback and performance data.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, eLearning, Education Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPLP, ATD, or other instructional design certifications) are a plus.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or corporate training roles (3+ years preferred).</li><li>Demonstrated portfolio of eLearning projects or course design work.</li></ul><p><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Proficient in eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate Rise, or similar software.</li><li>Familiarity with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite) or video editing tools is highly desirable.</li><li>Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM/xAPI compliance.</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge Base:</strong> Adept at instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), adult learning principles, and emerging trends in eLearning design and technology.</p>
