<p>We are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Senior Accountant to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supporting compliance efforts, and providing insightful financial analysis. This position is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in accounting and financial reporting.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare financial statements and compliance certificates for lenders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.</p><p>• Develop schedules to accompany investor reports, providing clear and comprehensive financial data.</p><p>• Analyze and review daily cash budgeting and forecasting reports to support effective financial planning.</p><p>• Oversee internal audit schedules to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.</p><p>• Review and interpret month-end financial results at various organizational levels to identify trends and variances.</p><p>• Provide financial statements and supporting schedules required for annual tax filings.</p><p>• Conduct research on new accounting standards and ensure compliance with US GAAP regulations.</p><p>• Prepare detailed schedules for external audits, ensuring all requirements are met.</p><p>• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries and account reconciliations with precision.</p><p>• Support banking operations and manage special projects or ad hoc tasks as assigned by leadership.</p>

<p>• 2+ years of public accounting experience</p><p>• Proficiency in month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.</p><p>• Strong expertise in preparing and analyzing financial reports.</p><p>•2+ years of industry experience </p><p>• Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and related compliance requirements.</p><p>• CPA required</p><p>• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.</p><p>• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.</p>
