Senior Human Resources Manager
We are looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee HR operations for our business unit in Houma, Louisiana. In this role, you will collaborate closely with leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals while fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture. This position requires a strategic mindset and the ability to manage diverse HR functions, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and training.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the company’s objectives and support business unit goals.<br>• Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for advancing organizational priorities and enhancing workforce engagement.<br>• Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee retention, and performance management.<br>• Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and industry-specific regulations, including offshore requirements.<br>• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records using the company’s HRIS system.<br>• Advise management on employment-related matters such as disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations.<br>• Develop and manage workforce training programs to enhance skills and ensure alignment with company culture.<br>• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives to promote a supportive and collaborative work environment.<br>• Conduct internal and client-required audits, ensuring all compliance reporting is completed accurately.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address organizational needs and maintain HR best practices.
<p>• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related study, SHRM-CP or PHR certifications highly valued.</p><p>• Proven expertise in HR management, including employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and industry-specific requirements.</p><p>• Experience administering HRIS systems and maintaining confidential employee records.</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement workforce training and engagement programs.</p><p>• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with management and employees.</p><p>• Ability to manage audits and compliance reporting with accuracy and attention to detail.</p><p>• Strategic mindset with experience aligning HR initiatives to business goals.</p><p>• Familiarity with offshore regulatory requirements and training programs is a plus.</p><p><br></p><p>For confidential consideration, contact Hayley Euper at 504-383-0704 or apply today.
