Sr. Procurement Consultant
<p>We are looking for an experienced a Procurement Consultant to join our team on a contract basis! This position focuses on managing procurement processes, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and fostering transparency in all purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in contract administration, negotiation, and procurement management.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Administer contracts and procurement activities, resolving issues related to purchase orders, agreements, and compliance.</p><p>• Manage competitive solicitation processes, including developing bidding documents and procedures that promote fairness and transparency.</p><p>• Create standardized solicitation templates to ensure strategic goals like social equity and competitive pricing are met.</p><p>• Oversee record-keeping for procurement activities and contracts, ensuring accurate documentation across the agency.</p><p>• Lead procurement efforts for all departments within the organization, ensuring efficiency and compliance.</p><p>• Design and deliver agency-wide training programs focused on procurement policies and procedures.</p><p>• Collaborate with Accounting, Development, and other teams to categorize and track costs for reporting, auditing, and certification purposes.</p><p>• Manage credit and purchase card programs while ensuring adherence to established guidelines.</p><p>• Consult with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure compliance with procurement laws and regulations.</p><p>• Provide guidance on programmatic and agency-wide compliance related to procurement activities.</p>
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, contract negotiation, and administration.<br>• Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations.<br>• Expertise in indirect and corporate procurement practices.<br>• Proficiency in developing and managing purchasing agreements.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting purposes.<br>• Familiarity with credit and purchase card management.<br>• Ability to design and implement training programs related to procurement procedures.<br>• Solid understanding of compliance requirements at federal, state, and local levels.
