Membership Coordinator
<p>We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused onsite Membership Coordinator to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This long-term contract position involves extensive interaction with members and non-members, ensuring exceptional service and fostering positive relationships. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to engaging with diverse stakeholders. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Build and nurture relationships with members and non-members through consistent outreach, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.</p><p>• Handle inquiries with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.</p><p>• Review, follow up on, and approve membership applications efficiently.</p><p>• Organize and participate in membership events, meetings, and related activities.</p><p>• Maintain and update the membership database to ensure accuracy and accessibility.</p><p>• Collaborate with the accounting team to manage annual dues, resignations, and membership category changes.</p><p>• Prepare detailed reports as needed to support organizational goals.</p><p>• Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.</p>
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in customer service or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in computer applications and the ability to navigate databases effectively.<br>• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on professionalism.<br>• A positive attitude and comfort in engaging with individuals at all levels, including members, employees, and executives.<br>• Proven ability to attract new members while maintaining strong relationships with current ones.<br>• Flexibility to attend membership events and meetings as required.<br>• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
