Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager
<p>We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Ronkonkoma, New York. In this role, you will oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while managing a small team. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee daily operations of the accounts receivable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.</p><p>• Manage a team of up to three employees, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.</p><p>• Monitor and manage aging reports to ensure collection targets are met and outstanding balances are addressed.</p><p>• Implement and maintain effective cash application processes to optimize financial workflows.</p><p>• Supervise commercial collections activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.</p><p>• Prepare and review billing functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.</p><p>• Collaborate with other departments to address discrepancies and improve processes related to accounts receivable.</p><p>• Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into accounts receivable performance and trends.</p><p>• Foster strong relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments and resolve disputes.</p>
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with a proven track record in managing teams.<br>• Proficiency in accounts receivable processes, including billing, cash applications, and collections.<br>• Strong ability to analyze and manage aging reports effectively.<br>• Excellent leadership skills, with experience in supervising and developing team members.<br>• Solid understanding of commercial collections practices and procedures.<br>• Strong communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and other departments.<br>• Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to accounts receivable.<br>• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
