We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Holt, Michigan. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounts receivable processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee accounts receivable operations, including cash applications and billing functions.<br>• Monitor and manage incoming communications related to payments and collections.<br>• Send timely notifications and reminders to clients regarding outstanding balances.<br>• Collaborate closely with the manager to address financial discrepancies and resolve issues.<br>• Assist with clearing backlogged projects to improve operational efficiency.<br>• Maintain accurate records of cash activity and ensure proper documentation.<br>• Analyze and reconcile accounts to ensure all transactions align with company standards.<br>• Provide support in the preparation of financial reports and data analysis.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.<br>• Work effectively within a team to meet deadlines and achieve departmental goals.

• Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including billing and collections.<br>• Strong knowledge of cash applications and cash activity tracking.<br>• Proficiency in Excel and ability to adapt to financial systems and tools.<br>• Excellent communication skills for managing client interactions and resolving issues.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Familiarity with commercial collections processes.<br>• Commitment to maintaining accuracy and compliance in all financial tasks.
