<p>A respected and established organization is seeking a diligent Buyer to support on a long-term contract basis. This is an excellent role for those with foundational SAP or similar ERP experience who are passionate about purchasing and inventory management. You will play a key role in supporting seamless operations and helping meet customer requirements.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage planning variables such as safety stock, order quantities, lead times, and forecasts for assigned materials to help fulfill customer demands.</li><li>Investigate and resolve invoice issues related to purchase orders promptly.</li><li>Regularly review Material Requirements Planning (MRP) messages to release purchase and/or work orders as needed.</li><li>Obtain supplier quotes and assist in pricing negotiations.</li><li>Follow up on inventory adjustments and discrepancies, communicating any impacts to production and planning teams.</li><li>Assign and review appropriate due dates for orders, coordinating with internal teams as needed.</li><li>Maintain effective and timely communication with both internal and external contacts, including suppliers and cross-functional groups.</li><li>Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, focusing on Supply Chain interests as part of the Product Development Team.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.</li></ul>

<ul><li>1–3 years of relevant experience</li><li>Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems</li><li>Background or exposure to purchasing and/or category planning</li><li>Strong Microsoft Excel skills (including data visualization, lookups, pivot tables, charting, SUMIFS)</li><li>Highly organized with excellent communication skills</li></ul><p><br></p>
