Front Desk Coordinator
We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and staff, ensuring an attentive and welcoming environment. This is a contract position that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in administrative tasks.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet visitors and staff in a courteous and attentive manner, ensuring a positive first impression.<br>• Manage and operate a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.<br>• Assist with concierge services, providing information and support as needed.<br>• Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, file organization, and correspondence.<br>• Monitor building security protocols, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, to complete daily tasks efficiently.<br>• Coordinate scheduling and access setup for staff and visitors as required.<br>• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.<br>• Provide outstanding customer service to address inquiries and resolve concerns.<br>• Collaborate with team members to support office operations.
• At least 1 year of experience in a front desk or administrative role.<br>• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.<br>• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.<br>• Experience managing multi-line phone systems.<br>• Ability to perform data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Familiarity with building security protocols and procedures.<br>• Excellent organizational skills to manage files and schedules.<br>• Customer service experience, demonstrating a proactive approach to resolving issues.
