Production Assistant
<p>We are looking for a skilled Production Assistant to support production activities for an event on Wednesday September 10th. This contract position involves assisting with the setup, configuration, and operation of equipment during a detail-oriented services event. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in event production and camera operation, as well as a strong ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare event spaces by laying cables, setting up lighting systems, and configuring television stands and displays.</p><p>• Secure cables using tape and ensure the safe movement and placement of equipment such as pelican cases and boxes.</p><p>• Operate stationary cameras to capture live footage, including tracking individuals on stage or within the audience.</p><p>• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event equipment, ensuring all components are properly handled and stored.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth execution of event production tasks.</p><p>• Troubleshoot technical issues related to lighting, cabling, and camera operation during the event.</p><p>• Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the event setup and teardown process.</p><p>• Follow safety protocols to ensure the secure installation and operation of equipment.</p><p>• Provide support for IT configuration tasks as needed, such as connecting devices or adjusting settings.</p>
• Proven experience in event production, including setup and teardown processes.<br>• Demonstrated ability to operate stationary cameras effectively.<br>• Familiarity with laying cables, setting up lighting systems, and configuring IT equipment.<br>• Knowledge of stage lighting, video cameras, and visual design principles for events.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions precisely.<br>• Physical ability to lift and move equipment safely.<br>• Previous experience in conference room setup and cleanup is a plus.
