<p><strong>Job Title: </strong>Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure DevOps / AWS)</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> 100% Remote</p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> 3-6 Month Contract</p><p><strong>Type:</strong> Contract Consulting Engagement</p><p><strong>Schedule: </strong>40 Hours Weekly, Monday- Friday </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking a hands-on <strong>Senior DevOps Engineer</strong> to support a large-scale application modernization and cloud transformation initiative. This consultant will play a key role in enhancing CI/CD capabilities, improving deployment automation, and supporting the migration of legacy applications to modern cloud-based architectures.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have deep experience with <strong>Azure DevOps</strong>, CI/CD pipeline development, AWS cloud technologies, and application modernization efforts. This is a highly technical, engineering-focused role where you&#39;ll be expected to contribute immediately within an established DevOps environment while helping drive several strategic modernization initiatives forward.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, build, enhance, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Improve deployment automation and release management processes</li><li>Develop new development, testing, and production deployment pipelines</li><li>Support application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives</li><li>Help standardize deployment practices across multiple teams and environments</li><li>Automate build, release, and deployment workflows</li><li>Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and business stakeholders</li><li>Support deployments within AWS environments, including EC2 and serverless workloads</li><li>Assist with Infrastructure as Code initiatives and overall platform maturity</li><li>Contribute to DevOps best practices, governance, and operational reliability</li><li>Document processes and collaborate within Jira and Confluence environments</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering experience</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps administration and pipeline development</li><li>Experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines from the ground up</li><li>AWS experience, including deployment and support of cloud-hosted applications</li><li>Experience with CI/CD automation, release management, and deployment orchestration</li><li>Experience supporting software development teams through modernization initiatives</li><li>Familiarity with Jira and Confluence</li><li>Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, and CloudFormation</li><li>Experience supporting application modernization or cloud migration projects</li><li>Infrastructure as Code experience (CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools)</li><li>Experience supporting .NET application deployments</li><li>Experience building deployment standards and repeatable release processes</li><li>Experience working in Agile development environments</li></ul><p><strong>Nice-to-Have Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Amazon Redshift migration or data platform modernization experience</li><li>GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions experience</li><li>GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development tools exposure</li><li>Experience supporting cloud-native application architectures</li><li>Experience working with legacy system modernization initiatives</li></ul><p><br></p>
