<p>Established Connecticut law firm seeks a <strong>Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney</strong> to join its growing litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated business disputes representing corporate clients across a broad range of industries. The ideal candidate will have the ability to independently manage litigation matters from inception through resolution while collaborating with senior attorneys and department leadership on strategic case management.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead commercial litigation matters through each stage of the case, from initial assessment and filings through resolution or trial preparation.</p><p>• Oversee an active caseload independently while providing clients with timely updates and responsive guidance.</p><p>• Shape case strategy by evaluating legal and factual issues and recommending practical approaches that align with business objectives.</p><p>• Prepare high-quality legal documents, including motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery materials, supported by thorough research.</p><p>• Take part in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement discussions as an advocate for client interests.</p><p>• Work closely with senior attorneys and practice leadership on complex disputes, coordinating strategy and execution across matters.</p>

• At least 3 years of experience handling commercial or complex business litigation matters.<br>• Active attorney license and good standing in the applicable jurisdiction.<br>• Demonstrated ability to draft persuasive motions, briefs, and other substantive litigation documents.<br>• Experience managing litigation files with a high degree of independence and accountability.<br>• Strong legal research, analytical thinking, and written communication skills.<br>• Ability to advise business clients clearly and develop practical litigation strategies.<br>• Comfortable appearing in court and participating in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations.
