In this short-term contract to full time position, you will play a key role in managing procurement activities to ensure the efficient supply of materials and resources essential for our operations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the construction industry.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee the preparation and management of purchase orders to maintain a steady supply of materials.</p><p>• Evaluate vendor performance and establish strong relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.</p><p>• Monitor inventory levels to anticipate procurement needs and prevent shortages.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing activities with project requirements.</p><p>• Analyze market trends to identify cost-effective purchasing opportunities.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement activities.</p><p>• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and report purchasing data and metrics.</p><p>• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders and deliveries.</p><p>• Assist in developing and improving purchasing strategies to optimize efficiency.</p><p>• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and agreements in the purchasing department.</p>
