Receptionist
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Hampton, Virginia and offers an opportunity to be the first point of contact for our automotive business. The position requires strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to handle multiple priorities with ease.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming and attentive environment for all visitors.<br>• Operate and handle a multi-line phone system, directing calls efficiently and accurately.<br>• Respond to inbound calls, addressing inquiries and redirecting as necessary.<br>• Maintain records and documentation related to visitor logs and phone calls.<br>• Support administrative functions by organizing and coordinating schedules.<br>• Assist with general office duties, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.<br>• Ensure the reception area remains tidy and presentable at all times.<br>• Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and team members.<br>• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.<br>• Uphold company policies and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or similar administrative role.<br>• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills.<br>• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Familiarity with basic office equipment and software applications.<br>• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on customer service.<br>• High level of reliability and punctuality.
