We are looking for an experienced Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager to lead and oversee credit and collections operations in Hampden, Maine. In this role, you will be responsible for managing credit policies, mitigating risk, and ensuring efficient collections processes while fostering a strong customer-focused culture. This position requires excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of credit management, and a commitment to compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities:• Develop and enforce credit policies and procedures tailored to customer risk profiles.• Evaluate and approve new customer credit applications, establishing appropriate credit limits and terms.• Monitor customer accounts for risk indicators, adjusting credit limits to mitigate potential issues.• Supervise daily collections activities, including proactive payment reminders and managing delinquent accounts.• Coordinate with legal counsel and executive teams to address escalated accounts and implement payment solutions.• Analyze accounts receivable aging reports, providing updates to senior management and recommending process improvements.• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards while filing small claims and managing court schedules as needed.• Lead and train credit and collections staff, setting performance goals and fostering a collaborative, customer-focused environment.• Communicate regularly with executive leadership, site managers, and legal teams to ensure alignment on credit and collections strategies.• Travel to company sites to oversee credit and collections activities as required.

• Proven experience in credit and collections management, with a focus on both residential and commercial accounts. • Strong understanding of credit analysis, risk assessment, and collections strategies. • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in credit and collections. • Excellent leadership and team management skills, including the ability to train and mentor staff. • Proficiency in analyzing financial data, including accounts receivable aging reports. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. • Willingness to travel to multiple company locations and court sites as needed. • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
