Staff Accountant
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Hamlet, North Carolina. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and manufacturing to contribute to a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting business operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.<br>• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial records.<br>• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to analyze financial data and support operational decision-making.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for financial reporting and system management.<br>• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.<br>• Conduct audits and internal reviews to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.<br>• Support budgeting and forecasting activities to align financial strategies with organizational goals.<br>• Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders to guide business decisions.<br>• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.<br>• Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.<br>• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries and managing general ledger accounts.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is preferred, but not required.<br>• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data.<br>• Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.<br>• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.<br>• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
