Data Entry Clerk
We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across various systems, contributing to the smooth operation of our processes. Based in Halsey, Oregon, this position is an excellent opportunity to apply your organizational skills in a dynamic environment within the wood and furniture manufacturing industry.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Accurately input and update data across company systems, including sales transactions, inventory records, and customer information.<br>• Utilize point-of-sale systems to reconcile transaction records and assist with audits of sales and inventory data.<br>• Maintain organized and secure records of data entry tasks, adhering to company policies.<br>• Identify and resolve errors or discrepancies in data by collaborating with relevant departments such as sales, accounting, and inventory management.<br>• Prepare regular reports from data systems to provide insights on sales trends, inventory levels, and customer activity.<br>• Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting point-of-sale system issues, escalating technical concerns when necessary.<br>• Support administrative functions by maintaining both digital and physical filing systems.<br>• Contribute to periodic reviews of data processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with operational standards.
• Proven experience in data entry, with proficiency in numeric and alphanumeric data handling.<br>• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and their functionality.<br>• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.<br>• Ability to type accurately and efficiently.<br>• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities.<br>• Effective communication skills for collaboration with other departments.<br>• Experience handling large volumes of data while maintaining accuracy.<br>• Ability to troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with technical teams when required.
