We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This is a long-term contract position ideal for an individual with a strong background in accounting principles and corporate tax. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to key financial processes and ensure accurate management of accounts.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process and monitor fund transfers to ensure timely and accurate transactions.<br>• Apply accounts receivable payments and maintain thorough records of payment applications.<br>• Handle claims and perform reconciliations to resolve discrepancies effectively.<br>• Prepare and record intercompany journal entries with precision.<br>• Conduct bank entries and reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial data.<br>• Allocate expenses across various departments, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.<br>• Administer depreciation schedules and calculations in line with established procedures.

• Proficiency in corporate tax and sales tax regulations.<br>• Experience in preparing corporate tax returns with accuracy.<br>• Strong knowledge of journal entries and general ledger processes.<br>• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.<br>• Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.<br>• Familiarity with expense allocation and depreciation procedures.<br>• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
