Inventory Clerk
We are looking for a dedicated Inventory Clerk to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position that requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage inventory processes effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory tracking and data entry, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and asset organization.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure timely updates in data entry systems.<br>• Organize and track inventory across assembly lines and storage areas.<br>• Conduct annual physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.<br>• Assist in managing inventory budgets by monitoring stock levels and reducing waste.<br>• Perform moderate to heavy lifting to move and organize inventory items.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve inventory processes.<br>• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of assets for efficient tracking.<br>• Prepare detailed reports on inventory status and submit them to management.<br>• Participate in audits and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Proficiency in math and the ability to perform calculations accurately.<br>• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and data entry processes.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br>• Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.<br>• Experience with assembly lines and inventory management techniques.<br>• Knowledge of budget management principles related to inventory.<br>• Capability to conduct physical inventory checks and resolve discrepancies.
