We are looking for a skilled DB2 Security Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in database security to ensure optimal protection of sensitive information across DB2 databases on Windows platforms. This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with IT security teams and database administrators while contributing to compliance and security initiatives.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Configure and manage security settings for DB2 databases operating within Windows environments.<br>• Administer user roles, access permissions, and rights across DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server databases.<br>• Develop and implement security provisioning processes to safeguard sensitive business data.<br>• Collaborate with IT security teams and database administrators to identify and address vulnerabilities.<br>• Investigate unauthorized access attempts and provide remediation strategies to prevent future incidents.<br>• Maintain comprehensive documentation for security configurations and processes.<br>• Support compliance initiatives and assist during audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.<br>• Monitor database environments for security anomalies and respond to incidents promptly.<br>• Provide technical guidance and recommendations for improving database security practices.

• Hands-on experience as a DB2 Security Analyst or a similar role within Windows server environments.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and DB2 database security features.<br>• Familiarity with Azure SQL Database and MySQL security management.<br>• Strong understanding of database authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols.<br>• Knowledge of access management systems and frameworks.<br>• Experience with security compliance standards and audit processes.<br>• Excellent analytical skills paired with effective troubleshooting and communication abilities.<br>• Availability to start immediately and commit to the short-term duration of the contract.
