Controller
We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Greenville, South Carolina. This role is ideal for a finance expert with strong analytical skills and a background in manufacturing. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing critical accounting processes and ensuring financial accuracy.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Perform detailed general ledger reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.<br>• Manage month-end closing activities, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.<br>• Prepare and analyze financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.<br>• Generate daily cash reports to monitor cash flow and financial health.<br>• Conduct bank reconciliations for multiple accounts to ensure proper alignment.<br>• Utilize Infor Visual ERP software to manage accounting tasks efficiently.<br>• Create and maintain spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial queries and provide support.<br>• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and implement improvements.<br>• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Controller or similar accounting role.<br>• Proficiency in Infor Visual ERP software.<br>• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger reconciliations.<br>• Experience in performing bank account reconciliations.<br>• Ability to prepare and analyze daily cash receipts and financial forecasts.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including creating and managing complex spreadsheets.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.<br>• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
