Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this contract role, you will play a critical part in managing credit history files, ensuring timely collections, and resolving billing discrepancies. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the financial health of our organization.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Create and maintain detailed credit history files to ensure accurate financial records.<br>• Evaluate the creditworthiness of clients by utilizing credit risk management tools and reports.<br>• Support collection efforts by making calls and managing the accounts receivable portfolio.<br>• Document daily collection activities and maintain thorough records.<br>• Investigate account disputes and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.<br>• Perform account reconciliations and ensure payment accuracy.<br>• Address credit inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Identify accounts requiring external collection efforts and take appropriate action.<br>• Monitor accounts for bad debt or financial risks and provide timely recommendations.
• Proficiency in accounts receivable processes and practices.<br>• Strong experience with cash applications and payment reconciliations.<br>• Demonstrated ability to manage commercial collections effectively.<br>• Solid understanding of billing functions and financial documentation.<br>• Skilled in handling cash activity and identifying discrepancies.<br>• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.<br>• Ability to analyze financial data and assess credit risks accurately.<br>• Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or contractor industry is preferred.
