Full Charge Bookkeeper
<p>Our client, in the utilities/government industry, is in need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team on a contract basis! This is located in Green Valley, offering a reverse commute, and in this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and performing necessary reconciliations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and experience in bookkeeping and accounting systems.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Perform comprehensive bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.</p><p>• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.</p><p>• Oversee month-end closing processes and ensure timely completion of financial statements.</p><p>• Review and clean up financial records from the past four months to ensure data accuracy.</p><p>• Utilize Sage 50 software to manage and update accounting information.</p><p>• Prepare and close books efficiently, ensuring compliance with industry standards.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and streamline processes.</p><p>• Generate detailed financial reports and summaries for management review.</p><p>• Maintain organized and accessible financial documentation for audit purposes.</p>
<p>• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping or a related role.</p><p>• Proficiency in Sage accounting software is preferred, however, open to other accounting systems</p><p>• Strong understanding of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.</p><p>• Demonstrated expertise in performing bank reconciliations and month-end close tasks.</p><p>• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.</p><p>• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies effectively.</p><p>• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.</p>
