We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a manufacturing company in Golden, Colorado. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting operations and financial management. If you have over seven years of experience and excel in areas like month-end close, general ledger management, and financial audits, this opportunity is for you.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.<br>• Manage general ledger activities, including reviewing and reconciling accounts.<br>• Prepare and analyze financial statements to support audits and compliance.<br>• Conduct detailed account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.<br>• Create and post journal entries to ensure proper accounting treatment.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial operations and reporting.<br>• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.<br>• Provide support during financial audits, addressing inquiries and preparing documentation.<br>• Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.<br>• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, encouraging attention to detail and growth.

• Minimum of seven years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or similar industries.<br>• Proficiency in handling month-end close processes and general ledger management.<br>• Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and compliance standards.<br>• Expertise in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.<br>• Familiarity with accounting software and tools for financial reporting.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments.
