Safety and Compliance Coordinator
We are looking for a dedicated Safety and Compliance Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Germantown, Wisconsin. In this role, you will take the lead in developing and enforcing safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering a culture of accountability and safety throughout the organization. This position is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments who are ready to drive meaningful change and uphold high standards.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design, implement, and manage safety policies, procedures, and programs to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.<br>• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify safety gaps and recommend actionable improvements.<br>• Update and maintain the employee handbook to ensure alignment with current safety and compliance regulations.<br>• Provide training sessions and resources to employees at all levels, promoting adherence to established safety protocols.<br>• Investigate workplace incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.<br>• Collaborate with leadership to align safety initiatives with broader organizational goals.<br>• Lead the development of a safety agenda, setting priorities and action plans for operational teams.<br>• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for regulatory updates and compliance issues.<br>• Drive continuous improvement in safety practices through analysis and feedback.<br>• Encourage employee accountability for safety through consistent communication and reinforcement of best practices.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and compliance.<br>• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.<br>• Familiarity with call center metrics, consumer banking, and credit card industry practices.<br>• Experience with criticality analysis and consumer lending processes.<br>• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.<br>• Excellent communication and training skills to engage employees across all levels.<br>• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple safety initiatives simultaneously.<br>• Ability to investigate incidents thoroughly and develop actionable recommendations.
