We are looking for a dedicated Patient Registration Representative to join our team in French Camp, California, this is a part time position and does require some weekends. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and efficient registration of patients while maintaining a high level of professionalism and care. This position is ideal for someone with experience in insurance verification who is committed to delivering excellent service in a healthcare environment. Responsibilities:• Gather and input patient information into the hospital system by asking pertinent questions of patients or their relatives.• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring financial codes and account numbers are properly matched.• Verify insurance coverage, including Medi-Cal, by checking ID cards, labels, and records.• Provide clear explanations of hospital policies, procedures, and regulations related to patient registration.• Direct patients to appropriate clinics, offices, or treatment facilities based on their needs.• Manage clinic appointment systems to ensure smooth scheduling and coordination.• Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative teams to address patient concerns and streamline registration processes.

• Previous experience in insurance verification within a healthcare setting. • Proficiency in verifying patient eligibility and medical insurance coverage. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient records and registration. • Excellent communication skills to explain policies and guide patients effectively. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. • Familiarity with healthcare systems and procedures. • Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to varying schedules and patient needs.
