We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, on a contract basis. In this role, you will handle a variety of financial tasks to ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments. This position offers an opportunity to work in the dynamic transportation equipment manufacturing industry. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice coding and approval workflows. • Manage payments through Automated Clearing House (ACH), check runs, and other payment methods. • Review and reconcile purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Utilize Prophet 21 software to streamline and maintain accounts payable operations. • Maintain and update financial records using Microsoft Excel. • Monitor payment schedules and address any discrepancies in a timely manner. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and adherence to company policies. • Support audit preparation by organizing and providing necessary accounts payable documentation. • Assist in resolving vendor inquiries and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in processing ACH payments, check runs, and coding invoices. • Experience with purchase order reconciliation and familiarity with Prophet 21 software. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors.
