Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to lead and optimize the accounts payable operations in a shared services environment supporting multiple healthcare facilities. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure efficient workflows, maintain compliance, and implement process improvements tailored to the healthcare industry. Join us to contribute your leadership skills and expertise in streamlining financial operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee daily accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor reconciliations.<br>• Ensure accurate coding and timely posting of invoices using specialized software systems.<br>• Manage the centralized accounts payable function and coordinate services delivery across multiple healthcare sites.<br>• Develop standardized workflows and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.<br>• Lead and mentor the accounts payable team, fostering growth and promoting high-performance standards.<br>• Train team members on software systems and new features to ensure operational effectiveness.<br>• Ensure compliance with internal policies, healthcare regulations, and audit requirements.<br>• Prepare detailed reports on accounts payable metrics, such as payment cycles and aging invoices, for leadership review.<br>• Identify areas for process improvement and implement automation solutions to optimize workflows.<br>• Maintain strong vendor relationships by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.<br>• At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with 2 or more years in a leadership role.<br>• Strong proficiency in accounts payable software systems and advanced Excel skills.<br>• Experience in managing teams within a shared services environment.<br>• Familiarity with healthcare industry operations or multi-site organizations is highly desirable.<br>• Proven ability to enhance processes and implement efficient solutions.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate across multiple locations.<br>• Strong understanding of accounts payable controls and compliance requirements.
