We are looking for a dedicated Parts Specialist to join our manufacturing team in Fort Valley, Georgia. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key role in logistics coordination, ensuring accurate measurements, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Measure and record the dimensions and weights of various parts and packaging materials with precision.<br>• Document packaging details, including types, quantities per container, and specific container specifications.<br>• Input collected data into organizational templates or databases efficiently and accurately.<br>• Work closely with engineering and logistics teams to verify and maintain data accuracy.<br>• Identify and report any discrepancies or incomplete information promptly.<br>• Keep organized records of all measurements and observations for future reference.<br>• Adhere to safety and quality standards during all measurement activities.<br>• Support shipping functions and ensure compliance with customs requirements.<br>• Coordinate logistics tasks to ensure smooth distribution processes.

• Proven experience in logistics, distribution, or shipping functions within a manufacturing environment.<br>• Strong ability to coordinate logistics activities and manage related documentation.<br>• Familiarity with customs regulations and shipping processes.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Proficiency in using databases and templates for data entry.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.<br>• Commitment to adhering to safety and quality standards.<br>• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
