We are looking for a dedicated Material Planner Clerk to join our team in Fort Valley, Georgia. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting supply chain operations and ensuring the smooth flow of materials within a manufacturing environment. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to critical administrative and planning tasks. Responsibilities: • Enter purchase requisition data accurately into the system to support procurement processes. • Track and monitor scheduled deliveries, maintaining communication with suppliers to confirm shipment plans and modes of transportation. • Collaborate with Team Leads to address potential supply chain issues, proposing alternative solutions to prevent disruptions and shortages. • Provide backup assistance to team members, ensuring continuity of operations during periods of high demand or absence. • Take on special assignments or projects as directed by the Planning Team Leader or Planning Director to meet organizational goals.

• Proven experience in administrative assistance within a manufacturing or similar environment. • Strong skills in answering inbound calls and managing receptionist duties effectively. • Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy. • Familiarity with administrative office responsibilities, including record maintenance and scheduling. • Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers, team leads, and other stakeholders.
