Network Engineer
<p>We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's network infrastructure. You’ll work closely with other IT professionals to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing network operations.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Install, configure, and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.</li><li>Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure network availability for all users.</li><li>Maintain network hardware and software, applying updates and patches as required.</li><li>Assist in network design and capacity planning.</li><li>Implement network security measures, including firewalls and access controls.</li><li>Document network configurations and changes.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and other IT staff for problem resolution.</li><li>Support network backup and disaster recovery initiatives.</li><li>Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and colleagues.</li><li>Stay current with new networking technologies and best practices.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.</li><li>3+ years of experience in network administration or engineering.</li><li>Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), switching, and routing.</li><li>Experience with Cisco or similar networking equipment.</li><li>Familiarity with wireless, VPN, and remote access technologies.</li><li>Knowledge of network security principles.</li><li>Network+ or Cisco certification (CCNA or equivalent) preferred.</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul><p><br></p>
