We are looking for a Medical Scheduler to join our team in Flemington, New Jersey. In this Contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive seamless care by managing their appointments and coordinating schedules efficiently. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment and excels in delivering exceptional customer service.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.<br>• Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments and address scheduling inquiries.<br>• Maintain detailed records of appointments and follow-ups using scheduling systems.<br>• Handle incoming calls and manage patient requests with professionalism and courtesy.<br>• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize scheduling efficiency and meet patient needs.<br>• Provide clear instructions and guidance to patients regarding their appointments.<br>• Monitor scheduling conflicts and resolve them promptly to avoid disruptions.<br>• Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and healthcare regulations.<br>• Assist in updating patient information and verifying insurance details when necessary.<br>• Deliver excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical scheduling role or similar position.<br>• Proficiency in managing patient scheduling systems and appointment coordination.<br>• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.<br>• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Knowledge of healthcare confidentiality standards and best practices.<br>• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on patient care.<br>• Familiarity with insurance verification processes is a plus.
