VP/Director of Finance
<p>We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance to join our team in Fall River, Massachusetts. This contract position requires a skilled financial leader who can oversee financial operations and reporting while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight and expertise in managing budgets, financial analyses, and accounting processes.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and analyze Asset Liability reports and present findings to the Asset Liability Committee and Board as required.</p><p>• Develop detailed financial analysis for quarterly and annual reports to highlight organizational performance.</p><p>• Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget using the Brick & Associates CU/Budget-Ware module.</p><p>• Manage the creation and submission of financial reports for shareholders and regulatory authorities.</p><p>• Supervise the operations of the Accounting Department to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.</p><p>• Lead, mentor, and establish performance objectives for Accounting Department staff.</p><p>• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and implement necessary procedural changes to maintain compliance.</p><p>• Ensure all financial management and regulatory reports are prepared accurately and submitted on time.</p><p>• Represent the organization at meetings and seminars to stay informed of industry trends.</p><p>• Adhere to Bank Secrecy Act responsibilities, including reporting suspicious activities to the designated officer.</p>
• Proven experience in preparing budgets and managing financial forecasting processes.<br>• Expertise in month-end closing procedures and ensuring timely financial reporting.<br>• Strong knowledge of budget preparation methodologies and tools.<br>• Demonstrated ability to analyze cash flow and implement effective financial strategies.<br>• Proficiency in creating and presenting detailed financial reports.<br>• Leadership experience in supervising accounting staff and setting performance standards.<br>• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.<br>• Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
