<p>A growing manufacturing company is looking for a skilled Technical Writer to join their team in Everett, Washington. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in creating clear and engaging technical content tailored to various audiences. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between complex engineering concepts and user-friendly documentation.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to gather insights about products and their functionalities.</p><p>• Develop comprehensive user manuals, step-by-step guides, and articles to support semi-technical and non-technical audiences.</p><p>• Create and update website content using WordPress, ensuring accuracy and relevance.</p><p>• Suggest improvements to existing templates to enhance clarity and usability.</p><p>• Edit and manipulate images for effective visual representation, working closely with the graphic design team.</p><p>• Translate highly technical information into accessible content for diverse customer audiences.</p><p>• Research and analyze industrial control systems to ensure accurate and informed content.</p><p>• Maintain a consistent tone and style across all documentation, adhering to AP standards.</p><p>• Provide technical support by troubleshooting documentation issues and ensuring clarity.</p><p><br></p><p>Location: Everett, WA</p><p>Length: Contract-to-hire (this is a long-term role)</p><p>Pay: $30-35/hr </p><p><br></p><p>This is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative and growing company that takes care of their employees! • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing.<br>• Proficiency in editing and managing content on WordPress.<br>• Familiarity with industrial control systems, engineering, or networking concepts.<br>• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.<br>• Proven ability to simplify complex technical information for varied audiences.<br>• Expertise in tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, Figma, and AP Style standards.<br>• Experience with content creation, development, and editing.<br>• Knowledge of computer hardware and software systems.
