We are looking for an experienced Nutanix Solutions Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, configuring, and optimizing Nutanix environments while guiding the migration from VMware to Nutanix Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV). Your expertise will be key to ensuring seamless transitions, robust architecture, and high-performance systems.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead the design and architecture of Nutanix deployments, ensuring alignment with best practices for scalability, performance, and manageability.<br>• Provide strategic guidance on Nutanix Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV) deployment and connectivity, addressing client questions and clarifying functionality.<br>• Configure and validate two Nutanix clusters, including data replication using native tools to ensure reliable failover and minimal third-party dependency.<br>• Oversee migration efforts from VMware to Nutanix AHV, ensuring compatibility with existing workloads and minimizing disruption.<br>• Optimize Supermicro hardware performance, resolving server degradation issues and validating hardware health.<br>• Offer expert consultation to improve the design and resilience of Nutanix environments, including replication strategies.<br>• Document configurations and processes comprehensively, ensuring effective knowledge transfer to the client team.<br>• Validate system performance and ensure operational stability across all hardware and software components.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions that align with organizational goals and technical requirements.

• Proven experience with Nutanix Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV) and VMware migration.<br>• Strong expertise in designing and architecting scalable virtual environments.<br>• Proficiency in configuring Nutanix clusters and implementing data replication strategies.<br>• Hands-on experience with Supermicro hardware, including optimization and troubleshooting.<br>• Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Azure Active Directory, and Exchange.<br>• Familiarity with VMware technologies and virtualization concepts.<br>• Ability to provide detailed documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer.<br>• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to address technical challenges and client needs.
