<p>We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our in-house legal team in El Segundo, California. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to the Employment Law team, Human Resources, and other departments on a wide range of legal matters. This is a long-term contract position that offers an opportunity to work on business immigration, employment law litigation, administrative tasks, and internal legal projects. This company has a great work culture, incredible product, and opportunity for growth. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Assist legal counsel with various employment law matters, including immigration, recruitment, compensation, benefits, workplace safety, and compliance with government audits.</p><p>• Monitor and track immigration petitions, ensuring timely submission of required documents and updates to case files.</p><p>• Provide litigation support by managing case files, coordinating tasks with internal teams and external partners, and reviewing legal documents.</p><p>• Draft objections and responses to subpoenas and employment record requests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.</p><p>• Prepare document preservation notices and maintain the Employment Law team’s preservation system.</p><p>• Participate in drafting and updating contracts, policies, procedures, handbooks, and agreements as part of long-term and short-term legal projects.</p>

<p>• Paralegal certificate from an accredited program or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail.</p><p>• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a legal department or law firm.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration law and procedures, particularly employment-based petitions.</p><p><br></p><p>Position is on-site 3 days a week in El Segundo, California. </p>
