We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in El Paso, Texas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting key accounting functions. If you have a strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.<br>• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.<br>• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.<br>• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely reporting.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate financial data for decision-making.<br>• Monitor financial records for errors, inconsistencies, or potential improvements.<br>• Generate detailed financial reports and summaries for management review.<br>• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards in accounting practices.

• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.<br>• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and performing bank reconciliations.<br>• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines.<br>• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and management.<br>• Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
