We are looking for a dedicated Estate Planning and Probate Attorney to join a thriving legal practice in Edmonds, Washington. This role focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and elder law, offering opportunities to develop your legal expertise in a collaborative environment. If you’re passionate about providing clients with thoughtful and precise legal solutions, this position is an excellent fit for you.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives with a high degree of accuracy.<br>• Oversee probate and trust administration cases, managing all aspects from initiation to resolution.<br>• Perform in-depth legal research and draft memoranda, correspondence, and case-related documentation.<br>• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop effective strategies for estate planning and administration.<br>• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized legal advice.<br>• Assist in elder law matters, including Medicaid planning and related legal concerns.<br>• Stay informed on changes in estate planning laws and practices to ensure compliance and client satisfaction.
• Possess 0-2 years of experience in estate planning, probate, or trust administration, with an active Washington State Bar license.<br>• Demonstrate strong skills in legal drafting, organization, and client communication.<br>• Exhibit a client-centric approach with professionalism and empathy.<br>• Knowledge of elder law, Medicaid planning, or tax strategies is beneficial but not mandatory.<br>• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.<br>• Strong research and analytical skills to support legal decision-making.
