<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized <strong>Grant Accountant</strong> to join our Finance Department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing grant analysis and accounting functions, ensuring compliance with funding agency policies, and maintaining accurate financial records. A strong understanding of federal grant regulations and processes is essential. Your contributions will help the organization effectively manage grant funding while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist in the preparation of grant and operating budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and funding guidelines.</li><li>Review grant proposals to ensure accuracy, compliance with funding agency policies, and adherence to federal grant regulations.</li><li>Prepare and present monthly financial analyses of grants and operating accounts, including actual expenses, projections versus budget, and other insights to Principal Investigators or relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Accurately analyze, process, and review ledger transactions to maintain compliance and ensure financial transparency.</li><li>Conduct specialized financial analyses to address complex financial actions, and provide recommendations for policies, procedures, and internal controls to support efficient grant management.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of federal grants, including applicable regulations, compliance standards, and reporting requirements.</li><li>Proven experience with grant accounting and financial management principles.</li><li>Proficiency in financial software and tools for budgeting, reporting, and ledger analysis.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to manage financial details and effectively communicate with stakeholders.</li></ul><p><br></p>
