In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating an exceptional banking experience for our members by delivering outstanding service, building strong relationships, and promoting financial wellbeing. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for retail banking and a desire to thrive in a dynamic, member-focused environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Provide Exceptional Service:</strong> Greet members warmly, actively listen to their needs, and deliver personalized service to ensure every member has a positive and memorable banking experience.</li><li><strong>Promote Digital Tools:</strong> Assist members with Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) and digital banking platforms, offering demonstrations and guidance to encourage adoption and enhance their digital banking experience.</li><li><strong>Transaction Processing:</strong> Accurately process a variety of member transactions while resolving any issues to ensure seamless and efficient service.</li><li><strong>Account Management:</strong> Open and manage new consumer and business accounts, perform routine maintenance on deposit and loan accounts, and handle certificates of deposit (CDs) and individual retirement accounts (IRAs).</li><li><strong>Financial Solutions:</strong> Proactively identify member needs through conversations and recommend tailored financial products and services that support their financial goals and wellbeing.</li><li><strong>Member Engagement:</strong> Conduct outbound calls, schedule appointments, and engage with members in the lobby to foster loyalty and satisfaction.</li><li><strong>Risk Management:</strong> Adhere to established risk management policies and procedures to maintain compliance and mitigate potential losses.</li><li><strong>Relationship Building:</strong> Develop lasting member relationships through follow-ups, celebrating milestones, and providing ongoing financial support and guidance.</li><li><strong>Business Development Support:</strong> Partner with branch management to participate in community outreach initiatives, events, and other business development efforts to grow the branch’s presence.</li><li><strong>Loan Support:</strong> Review loan applications, compile necessary documentation, and communicate denials in a professional and courteous manner while offering alternative solutions to meet members’ needs.</li></ul><p><br></p>

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in cash handling and bank operations.<br>• Strong knowledge of retail banking processes, including transactions and deposits.<br>• Ability to navigate and educate members on banking technology tools.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and foster member relationships.<br>• Critical thinking skills to identify member needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.<br>• Familiarity with risk management practices and adherence to regulatory policies.<br>• Enthusiasm for community engagement and business development efforts.
