Project Accountant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our team in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In this role, you will oversee financial aspects of various projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, resource allocation, and timely completion. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting practices and a passion for project-based financial management.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop and manage budgets for multiple projects, ensuring financial goals are met.<br>• Monitor and analyze project expenditures to maintain compliance with financial plans.<br>• Collaborate with project teams to allocate resources effectively and track costs.<br>• Prepare regular financial reports to keep stakeholders informed of project progress.<br>• Review and process accounts payable transactions related to project activities.<br>• Maintain accurate asset inventory records for construction and project-related materials.<br>• Utilize Sage 100 and other accounting tools to streamline financial processes.<br>• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and practices in project execution.<br>• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support project decision-making.
• Proven experience in project accounting, preferably in construction or similar industries.<br>• Proficiency in accounting software, including Sage 100 and Deltek Vision.<br>• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and asset inventory management.<br>• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports.<br>• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.<br>• Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders.<br>• Knowledge of construction accounting principles is highly desirable.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
