<p><strong>Title:</strong> Lead Programmer/Analyst (Level IV)</p><p><strong>Type:</strong> Contract-to-Hire</p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> June 1 – August 29, 2026 (conversion targeted after)</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong> 4 days onsite / week</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Must be within commuting distance to a corporate office (specific site confirmed based on candidate location)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking a Lead Programmer/Analyst to drive development across cloud-based applications using Python and Java. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on building scalable solutions, guiding development teams, and contributing to system architecture in a modern cloud environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Lead development efforts across Python and Java applications in cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP)</p><p>Design and develop scalable solutions using RESTful APIs and integration patterns</p><p>Support data movement and transformation initiatives (ETL, file-based + API-driven)</p><p>Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions</p><p>Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers</p><p>Contribute to architecture and system design discussions</p><p>Ensure alignment with internal standards around security, compliance, and governance</p><p>Troubleshoot and support applications within a broader enterprise technology stack</p>
<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>10+ years of software development experience (flexible for strong candidates)</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>Python and Java</strong></li><li>Experience working in <strong>AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)</strong></li><li>Strong understanding of <strong>REST APIs and data integration</strong></li><li>Experience with <strong>ETL processes / data pipelines</strong></li><li>Proven ability to <strong>mentor or lead developers</strong></li><li>Strong problem-solving skills in complex technical environments</li></ul><p>•<strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience migrating legacy systems to <strong>GCP</strong></li><li>Familiarity with <strong>Terraform</strong> or infrastructure-as-code tools</li><li>Exposure to <strong>enterprise architecture frameworks</strong></li><li>Background in <strong>regulated environments</strong> (financial services, banking, etc.)</li></ul><p> <strong>Additional Notes</strong></p><ul><li>This role requires quickly ramping within an existing tech stack and development standards</li><li>You will be a key technical point of contact as you onboard and grow into the role</li><li>Strong communication and leadership skills are critical</li></ul>
