Construction Billing Clerk
<p>An organzation close to West Mifflin is looking for a skilled Billing Clerk.</p><p><br></p><p>The billing clerk role is contract-to-permanent role.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities for the Billing Clerk are:</p><p>• Prepare and submit comprehensive progress invoices, utilizing standard formats such as AIA documentation, while gathering necessary details from project stakeholders.</p><p>• Review and verify scheduled values to ensure alignment with contractual agreements and project scopes.</p><p>• Manage and track change orders or additional work tickets, addressing extended approval cycles as needed.</p><p>• Coordinate and ensure the submission of lien waivers in conjunction with payments or invoices, adhering to client and subcontractor requirements.</p><p>• Monitor accounts receivable, generate aging reports, and follow up on delayed payments to maintain financial flow.</p><p>• Analyze weekly job costing reports, addressing discrepancies and compiling accurate invoices for labor and fringe costs.</p><p>• Maintain organized job files, including contracts, change orders, billing summaries, and other relevant project documentation.</p><p>• Collaborate with project teams to project monthly billing amounts based on progress and expected labor costs.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with state and federal construction invoicing requirements while maintaining accuracy to prevent payment disputes.</p><p><br></p><p>If you are interested in being considered for this billing clerk position, please 1) Apply online AND 2) follow up with a phone call to 888-396-0099!</p>
<p>• Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing</p><p>• Construction billing and AIA experience is huge plust</p><p>• Proficiency in construction accounting software, such as ComputerEase, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.</p><p><br></p>
