We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and reporting for multiple entities. This role involves managing a team, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and optimizing accounting processes across operating groups. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in general ledger management, payroll oversight, and advanced financial practices. Responsibilities:• Supervise a team of three direct reports, providing guidance and oversight for financial operations across six active operating companies.• Perform and review general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.• Manage accounting entries related to prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued expenses.• Oversee bank reconciliation processes, ensuring timely and precise reviews.• Coordinate payroll activities for five operating entities, ensuring compliance and efficiency.• Supervise manual and semi-automated billing processes.• Conduct system reconciliations and maintain accuracy in financial records across entities.

• Proficiency in managing general ledger accounts and reconciliations. • Strong experience with bank reconciliation processes. • Expertise in fixed asset accounting and prepaid expense management. • Solid understanding of core accounting principles and practices. • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise software. • Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
