<p>Real Estate Finance Counsel/Attorney</p><p><br></p><p>Our client, a leading mission-driven organization focused on expanding access to affordable housing and supporting community development through innovative financing solutions is seeking a 5 plus years housing real estate finance attorney to support the legal operations team. Their work includes structuring complex real estate transactions and providing lending programs that strengthen communities.</p><p>Position Overview</p><p>The Senior Attorney/Counsel will provide legal support for real estate transactions, lending activities, and related matters.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>• Draft, review, and negotiate documents for commercial and multi-family real estate transactions.</p><p>• Structure and document loan agreements, security instruments, and related financing documents.</p><p>• Advise on acquisition, development, and disposition of real estate assets.</p><p>• Provide legal guidance on affordable housing programs and compliance with applicable laws.</p><p>• Assist with title, survey, and due diligence review for real estate transactions.</p><p>• Support closing processes for loans and property transactions, including coordination with internal teams and external counsel.</p><p>• Address legal issues related to construction financing, permanent financing, and refinancing.</p><p>Qualifications</p><p>• Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in the U.S.</p><p>• 5+ years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on commercial and multi-family transactions and lending activities.</p><p>• Strong understanding of financing structures and regulatory compliance.</p><p>• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.</p><p>Our client offers a very competitive salary and excellent benefits.
