This role involves overseeing key accounting operations and ensuring compliance with financial standards. As a Long-term Contract position, the role offers stability and the opportunity to contribute to critical financial processes within the healthcare industry. Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end close procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are recorded correctly. • Lead financial statement audits by coordinating with auditors and preparing necessary documentation. • Perform account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently. • Prepare and review journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards. • Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements. • Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency. • Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and enhance accuracy. • Train and mentor accounting staff to maintain high performance and adherence to best practices.

• Proven experience in managing month-end close processes. • Strong knowledge of general ledger operations and financial reporting. • Familiarity with conducting financial statement audits and working with auditors. • Expertise in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies. • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance. • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. • Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide and support team members.
