Hardware Analyst
We are looking for a dedicated Hardware Analyst to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. In this contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of IT hardware and software systems, while providing technical support to end users. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Perform technical evaluations and administrative tasks to plan, implement, and maintain personal devices and workstations.<br>• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues reported by employees in a timely manner.<br>• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software components to meet organizational needs.<br>• Provide training and guidance to end users on the effective use of equipment and software.<br>• Manage and prioritize support tickets, coordinating with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and external vendors as needed.<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user devices, peripheral equipment, and IT infrastructure.<br>• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient system maintenance and updates.<br>• Utilize tools like Power Automate and PowerShell scripting to streamline processes and improve system functionality.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support or hardware analyst role.<br>• Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.<br>• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, databases, and system maintenance.<br>• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in IT environments.<br>• Experience with Power Automate and PowerShell scripting.<br>• Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques.<br>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.<br>• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
